My little skiers chalet is adorning our table on a very rainy night…
Its feeling very wintery in our Queensland summer…just right for our snowy little scene.
After being inspired by seeing baby formula tins being used for another purpose I made this little stack of tins to house all the ‘bits and bobs’ that don’t have a home on our kitchen bench. I’m loving being able to find my mobile phone now when it rings and pens! :))
Ahhh….our old fridge…this fridge shifted to Cooktown with my family back when I was a teenager.
It has seen a bit too much rust and mould, so in an attempt to give it a new lease of life I painted it with blackboard paint!
It has come up a treat and I’m loving the blackboard (so is Noah)!
A little project….that has multiplied! I wanted to sew Noah a Mad dog pooch for Christmas…then it was his birthday…still no Mad dog…then Easter and then on a sunny Saturday morning Mad dog and his siblings entered the world!!
Fen has already been on a few adventures…a trip to church on Sunday and a few rides in the car but mostly he liked to be carried around. According to Noah, “Fen’s favourite thing to do is to sniff for worms….” in the garden that is!
After being inspired by the beautiful bright yellow fabric above and the cushion month challenge put out by Saffron Threads I had a sewing bonanza the other day… five cushions down…
