There is a time for everything ….jasmine, dates, thrifting, being born….

Dan and I enjoyed a date this morning out in our local community….
The beautiful jasmine was blooming and reminded me that soon our bubs will be here!

Thank you Euro Vida we enjoyed our breakfast :)

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born, a time to heal, a time to laugh, to dance, to embrace, to mend, to love….
God has made everything beautiful in its own time…

Happy Father’s Day Dan!

It’s true! You are!

…a tie for you…

…an Octonauts artwork signed by the artist :)

…and a monster tent…

…I’m looking forward to surfing holidays camping by the beach with you and the boys!

Happy Father’s Day Dan! We love you!

Malachi 4:6

“He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their father…”

Our weeks that were….

Noah’s early morning “Grader” research while trying to keep warm!

Cherishing six month old Byron…so so cute :)

…backyard camping antics…
Noah is anticipating the day when he and Dan sleep outside in the tent!
“When the weather gets warmer mummy!”

Every young knight needs to polish his sword :)
Dan and I were given this sword for a wedding present from his parents…reminding us of God’s word and the powerful role it plays in the Christians life….
Hebrews 4:12
“The word of God is living and active…sharper than any two edged sword…”

After arriving home around dinner time the other day I was greeted by “super boy Noah”….”Hi there super Mummy! I am cutting us up vegetables for dinner!” I’m glad he is keeping us healthy :)

Ready for church and Byron has sneakers! Not that he needs them but they sure do look cute!

Here is to another week…

Thankyou Jesus for each day you give us and the strength you give to live, truly live in you.

Around here….

A sneaky surprise birthday gathering for Dan! Noah and I enjoyed decorating the house for the arrival home of Dan from Tasmania!

Thankyou Donna Hay magazine for some cake decorating ideas!

Noah (and Dan&I) are eagerly anticipating Christmas and…

celebrating Jesus – the gift of grace to all who will recieve Him.

We are also can’t wait to hold our newest member of our family – only 3 weeks to go :))

For this child I prayed; and the Lord has given me my petition that I asked of Him.
1 Samuel 1: 27

A perfect day for a birthday by the beach!

Yesterday was Dan’s 30th birthday!!! We celebrated with a small gathering by the beach and it was the most perfect day for my beach loving husband :)

There was plenty of time for surfing…

…a driftwood birthday/Christmas tree…

It was such a relaxed, fun birthday…

Happy Birthday Dan….You’re 30…Cool :)

Needing some rest…

This week Noah and I have both been really sick. It started out with Noah screaming for two days:( We went to the doctor on the first day of screaming but the doctor couldn’t find anything…but it probably didn’t help that Noah was screaming so much and pushing him away that he didn’t get a good look in his ears to find a middle ear infection (which was discovered on the second day of screaming by a different doctor:). Then yesterday I felt so ill, I can’t remember ever feeling so sick…but another doctor found today I have tonsillitis and strep throat:) Probably caused by the same nasty germ that caused Noah’s ear infection:( Thankfully Dan was able to come home from work and look after us both! Thank you Dan! An upside of being sick has been consuming many bowls of ice-cream and getting some extra sleep:)

In amongst the many hours and hours of Hi-5 and In the Garden DVD s I have been thinking a lot lately about wisdom…
and have been reading lots about it in the book of Proverbs.
Here are some verses that have stood out to me:

By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures…Proverbs 24:3-4
I tend to think that the “house” described in these verses are an analogy for our life…..

A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense…Proverbs 19:11
I’m pondering and praying that I will be wise:)

Happy Birthday Dan!

Today is my very wonderful husband Dan’s birthday! Happy birthday to you!! We are heading up to the beach for a day of sun, surf and great food (and coffee!). Happy birthday dear Dan, Happy Birthday to you!! Hip…Hooray!!!
