The art of….

…building a fire…

….make sure you have a seasoned professional by your side (if your four)…

…fan the flame.,.

…watch it grow…

…then cook some snags…

We had a lovely time with my parents over the Easter weekend enjoying the quiet and peace of the country and remembering Jesus…
His death….His life and the fire He has put in our hearts…

In the country…

Its always a treat to get away to the country to visit family.

The air is crisp, the pace is slow and I am reminded of God’s grace.

His grace is really too wonderful for words.

As I rest and embrace God’s grace in my life I find peace, joy, rest and purpose in my life.

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakeness.
(2 Corinthians 12:9)

The country air was calling me….

Ahh…how I love this view…it is from my parents back verandah…
This last week Dan, Noah and I spent a few days out in the country at my parents house….
I grew up in the bush…where there is lots of peace and quiet…life is a much slower pace….no traffic or blocks of units hampering my view….
While I really enjoy living in the city….every now and then I long to go to the country….

..and we had a great surprise! My parents had the neighbours cattle on their property…they are a vocal bunch of cows and it was great to have them around:)

I enjoyed getting more closely acqauinted with them!

Thankfully they weren’t camera shy!!
