Eleven!

Our not so little Jack…

who is strong…

always setting out on new adventures…

searching for treasures…

and who can’t be held back…

is…

joyfully as always…ELEVEN months today!!

We love you Jack!

So I don’t forget…

The past few months have been particularly crazy for our family in the area of health. I’m just listing out the different health challenges that we have been facing so I don’t forget this season…
  •  Noah’s eye has turned in and has double vision (seeing multiple doctors, many thousands of dollars later and still no solution)

  • The three boys seem to have had virus after virus…Byron alone has had a staf infection twice, a myriad of “general” viruses, hand-foot-mouth, gastro twice, conjuctivitis….

  • The last two weeks has served up a cocktail of sickness with two boys with ear infections, four in the family with the flu and Jack with gastro/conjuctivitis/body rash and the flu!

  • Then on Wednesday night, Byron had his face glued back together after tripping over and getting a small gash.

I’m writing this down not to complain or get sympathy – but primarily so I don’t forget!!!I know we will get through this tough season and I think we will be having many more quiet weeks as we recover and build up strength again before venturing out :)

I hope this can be an encouragement to any other families or individuals who are having a tough time with your health. I am praying for complete healing for my family…a solution/miracle for Noah…strength and joy admist this craziness.

I’m thankful that I have the experience of God’s power admist our struggles…I know He will provide a way through like He has in the past…and I see the evidence of His care in so many ways…practically with a friend and family members dropping over food…beautiful flowers from a neighbour…and His peace in amongst the trying circumstances.

The sky always seems so much more crisp and blue after the rain…

and I know that I will keep telling His story…how he saved my life, healed my family and poured His heavenly love upon us every day…snotty noses and all!
