A beautiful day to be wed…

Dan, Jack and I had the priviledge of celebrating the marriage of a very special couple last week.

The day was perfect…

…bunting was blowing in the breeze…

…the sun was shining as we witnessed a beautiful wedding ceremony…

…the bride was stunning…

…love…

…a day under the sun spent celebrating the blessing of marriage…

A whole year older!

After a VERY long wait – 52 weeks or so, Noah turned 6!!!
He is quite the party planner and months before the big day arrives he and I go through ideas for themes, I suggest “How about pirates? or superheroes?” Noah is “No, mum…I want an Star Wars Angry Birds party! :)”

Then the party planning gets going! Noah had drawn ideas for costumes for the family, so so so many pictures (which I displayed at his party) of Star Wars Angry Birds! He even made decorations for the top of his birthday cake! I prayed that Noah would have a really fun, fantastic party – and he did!

The calm before the party and Noah’s art work!

The Angry Birds wall waiting to be smashed down.

Princess Leia

Luke Sky Walker and his paper creation…

Pool noodle light sabres…

The jedi’s and their weapons…

The water slide!!!

Two Angry Birds made an appearance – thank you Uncle Joel and Nathan!

The kids LOVED attacking them too!

The little brothers enjoyed the party…

and Dan did too – even though his jedi skills were put to the test!

Happy Birthday Noah – you are six!

He cares about my days…

My God is a good God.
Nothing goes unnoticed.

7th March 2013 – is a day held in the hands of my God and I look forward to what this day will bring. It is a day I remember the due date of a little one that we never got to meet this side of heaven. I know my God holds our precious ones close and he is so good and kind and loving.

Psalm 31
I run to you God….
You’re my cave to hide in,
my cliff to climb.
Be my safe leader, be my true mountain guide.
…You, God, I trust.
I’m leaping and singing in the circle of your love;
you saw my pain,
you disarmed my tormentors,
You didn’t leave me in their clutches
but gave me room to breathe.
