Around here…

Enjoying the markets….

A ferry ride…

Christmas cake baking…

…and the arrival of Santa (aka Dan!!) at our local playgroup Christmas party! It was hilarious! Dan did a fantastic job as Santa (apparently the most lively and upbeat Santa playgroup had ever had!).
Noah was sitting quietly watching Santa and I asked him if he wanted to sit on Santa’s lap and he said, “Its Daddy!!” So there was no photo with Santa! :)

Some new animal friends…

We have had a little bit of pet care experience over the last few years enjoying the fishy company of 3 fighting fish (our current fish has lasted almost a year!) – its a record! We became the caretakers of alot of silk worms and Noah LOVED them (thankyou Debbie!).
He would get the worms out and they would dance (or so Noah said), creep over cushions and get lots of cuddles :)

Our weekly adventure was to find more mulberry leaves and sadly the worms have graduated, spun cocoons and flown the nest :)

Two weeks ago our 9 week old chickens Minnie and Moo moved in…

Such great, low maintenance pets and looking forward to when they start laying eggs!!

Can’t wait to meet junior :)

The countdown has begun and our little family can’t wait to meet junior!

Bubs little room has been readied and its now only 8 weeks until we meet our big miracle :)

Noah has been embracing becoming a big brother and loves to go into the baby’s room to play…

…swing himself in the baby swing or climb onto the change table and reminisce about times past :))

Secluded Angourie…

One of the joys of our holiday was spending time at the beautiful secluded beaches of Angourie…such a beautiful surfing reserve and at times we were the only people on the beach!

There was plenty of time and space to sit and contemplate…

…way in the distance if you look carefully is Dan sleeping on the beach…

…my favourite was beachcombing with Noah…sea urchins, beautiful shells, starfish and King Neptunes necklaces dotting the beach…

Kite flying until the sun goes down…

We recently spent two weeks on holidays at the beach and it was such a relaxing and refreshing time.
Noah became an expert kite flyer (with a little bit of help) over the two weeks and he flew his kite until the sun went down :)

Teamwork gets this kite flying :)

Lots of running to our final destination…

…the top of the headland to watch the sun go down :)
